The unorthodox rapper dropped his new EP (extended play) and mixtape " STN MTN / Kauai" on October 2nd. "Kauai" was ranked 18th on the Billboard 200 and sold 16,000 copies in its first week. The following week, the EP rose to number 16 on the chart by having sold 19,00 copies.
In his new mixtape and EP, Gambino exhibits his singing and vocal abilities in songs such as "The Palisades", "Money Baby", "U Don't Have to Call", "Sober", "Pop Thieves", and "Retro". However, he did not forget to express his talented and unique rapping abilities in songs like "Candler Road", "Nextel Chirp / Let Your Hair Blow", and "Dream / Southern / Hospitality / Partna Dem".
